The Senior Data Engineer is integral in creating and optimizing Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) workflows and pipelines that support efficient data integration and accessibility, ensuring that business decisions are informed by high-quality, reliable data.
In this role, the Senior Data Engineer will spearhead the design and implementation of modern data architectures, including star schemas and data marts, to facilitate organized and actionable data analysis. By leveraging Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for seamless data integration, the engineer will contribute to a comprehensive data ecosystem that supports Empower's business growth. Additionally, the Senior Data Engineer will drive data strategy initiatives, applying their analytical expertise to enhance data visualization and insights, while ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.
