• Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, Simple Queue Service Queues, DynamoDB) to create scalable, efficient data processing solutions.

• Deep expertise in building data models and creating complex queries using Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).

• The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of many of the following areas:
  • Relational SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Deep experience with ETL tools like (Apache Hop, Pentaho, Informatica, AWS Glue, SQL Server Integration Services etc.) and a solid grasp of designing, deploying, and maintaining workflows and data pipelines.
  • AWS Core Concepts (Roles, Security Groups, AWS Lambda (Python), Step Functions, Batch, Kinesis etc.).
  • Data ingestion (e.g., FiveTran or similar).
  • Data warehousing and storage (e.g., Snowflake, RedShift, Vertica or similar).
  • Data transformation (e.g., Data Build Tool or similar).
  • Visual reporting and analysis (e.g., Power Business Intelligence or similar).
  • Python programming experience.
• Commits to open-source projects are a bonus, especially in the data analytics space.

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
• Minimum of 8 years of dimensional and relational data modeling experience.
• Strong Python software development skills for API usage, web scraping, data wrangling, testing, and data automation.
• Experience with database and data warehouse concepts such as facts and dimensions to design and develop data models that support enterprise reporting and analytic needs.
• Experience with wrangling, exploring, and analyzing data to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Familiar with data wrangling, optimization of data flows, continuous learning, and adoption of emerging technologies.
