The Analytics Engineer plays a key role in shaping data-driven decision-making at Empower Pharmacy by developing and maintaining advanced business intelligence (BI) solutions. The Analytics Engineer ensures that critical data is not only accessible but also structured in a way that enhances operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
This role involves designing data structures and relationships, building custom calculations, and integrating multiple data sources into cohesive Power BI reports. By working closely with stakeholders, the Analytics Engineer translates complex business requirements into actionable data models, helping various teams—including pharmacy operations, finance, and Human Resources—leverage real-time insights to improve outcomes. Additionally, this role plays a significant part in optimizing BI systems and addressing data quality issues to ensure reliability and accuracy.
As a key contributor to Empower’s data strategy, the Analytics Engineer is responsible for evolving the company’s data platforms, particularly Snowflake, and providing technical expertise for troubleshooting and training. This role also supports the development of enterprise-wide dashboards and reports, enabling both high-level decision-making and detailed operational analyses.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. This is primarily a remote position. The employee is regularly required to attend video conference meetings in surroundings conducive to clear communication in a non-distracting way. The company will, from time to time, have the employee travel to meet with business stakeholders, or attend learning events and conferences.
