Position Summary

The Manager, IT Enterprise Platform – Supply Chain & Operations is a strategic leader responsible for optimizing the digital backbone that drives Empower’s compounding, logistics, and manufacturing operations. This role ensures our enterprise systems—especially those related to planning, production, and fulfillment—operate with precision and agility to support our mission of expanding access to affordable medication for 300 million people. At the intersection of technology and operations, this leader will help scale Empower’s impact through intelligent systems that evolve with our hyper-growth trajectory.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise systems supporting supply chain and operations – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), Manufacturing, and related systems.
  • Work closely with various business units (Procurement, Logistics, Finance, IT, etc.) to ensure smooth integration of enterprise systems into overall operations.
  • Serve as the liaison between business units and IT to ensure system alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure the effective integration of enterprise systems across procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning functions.
  • Leverage enterprise system capabilities to drive data-driven decisions and improve forecasting, inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics.

 

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex operational needs into elegant, scalable platform solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with deep technical proficiency in ERP systems, MRP, production planning tools, and AI-powered supply chain technologies.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing or administering enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS) within a supply chain or operations context.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred; APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) strongly preferred; Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
